Backpack Drive – 2025
Dear First Gen Nation,
Our church staff and ministry team members met with Mr. Castain Alfred, who works with Wilkerson Intermediate families. His constituency is made up of families which generally lack financial capacity. As a First Gen group, we have been asked to help with backpacks and school supplies for 150 deserving families. We want our gifts to be uniform so that all the students get equal supplies.
To make it easy for you to be involved, please consider donating a backpack and supplies as an individual family or donate supplies as a class. The church will purchase the backpacks in bulk to get a discount price. To donate a backpack, please click the link provided. If you purchase supplies and donate a backpack from the links below, your cost will be around $ 40. Our project will need $6,000. You can donate directly towards this project at the following link:

If you would like to participate in the First Gen School Supply Backpack Drive, please bring your supplies to the South Campus church office, or have them delivered directly to the church office by July 30. We will distribute the supplies to Wilkerson before their first day of school. Thanks in advance for your help meeting this need for our Community partner.
