Where Grace & Truth Intersect
Dear Church Family,
As events with the Covid 19 epidemic are unfolding, we will continue to worship together live and online for the next few weeks rather than gathering together in our church building.
On Thursday, March 18, the County Judge of Montgomery County followed the lead of President Trump urging groups of over 10 people not to meet in any place or at any time. This request is currently in place until April 2.
After consultation with church leadership, it has been decided we will worship online for the next three Sundays (March 22, 29 and April 5) after which we will make decisions about future services. Pray with us that this epidemic will subside quickly, and we will be able to meet together at church on Easter Sunday. Stay tuned!
For the time being, we will have the following events online:
Sunday Morning Service: 11:00 Weekly
Wednesday Worship: 6:30 Weekly
Daily Devotional: 10:00am Daily
The church office will remain open with a reduced and rotating staff on site. Staff members not in the office will be working at home. So, please do not hesitate to call if you have a question or know of a need we can meet. Most of all be safe.
Last week I mentioned Psalm 46:1 which says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Today let me add verse 10 in the same passage which says, “Be still and know that I am God.”
We are reminded through Psalm 46 and by current circumstances how much we need God and one another. We can’t deny the reality of the past few weeks, but I am challenging you to choose faith over fear as we move forward.
I am very proud of you and never more confident of your faithfulness to the church of Jesus Christ.
Although we will not be worshiping together in person these next few Sundays, you are still able to tithe and give online through the link below. Thank you for your continued faithfulness.
We’d love to be a place you call home. We hope your experience moves you closer to God.
It’s our passion to be the hands and feet of Jesus so that everyone can experience real life in him.
The Woodlands First seeks to be a faith family who lives at the intersection of God’s Grace and Truth.
