Hard Questions

Examining gender, sexuality, and identity through a Gospel lens

On any short list of today’s hot-button cultural issues, gender identity and sexual orientation are at the top. Even within the Church, these topics often lead to concern, confusion, and conflict.

Hard Questions is designed to help us answer questions about LGBTQ topics using a biblical framework. It will also equip us to engage in conversation with others about these issues and to share the Good News of Jesus — no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation—in a loving way, wisely balancing conviction and compassion.

No homework or preparation required! Just come as you are!

Fellowship time begins at 6:00 pm, Bible Study 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Embrace Grace

Embrace Grace exists to help inspire and equip the church to love and encourage single and pregnant young women and their families. Women experiencing unexpected pregnancies receive practical, spiritual, and emotional support through our global support groups. This group will meet for 12 weeks for a weekly bible study. The group will resume in the Fall.

If you would like more information please email Lauren Osborne at ozzylauren@yahoo.com.

The MomCo

The MomCo

Beginning this Fall, we are excited  for a name change to our MOPS and MomsNext group. Look for us under the new name The MomCo.  The new name was carefully chosen to be inclusive of all moms. MOPS International  recognized that we had outgrown our name and were unintentionally excluding moms with the term “mothers of preschoolers”. We offer belonging for all moms. We serve pregnant moms through moms of school-aged kids, but now under one name.

The MomCo is a gathering of mothers that encourages and equips moms to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with our church. Join us for a meal, speakers, crafts, mission projects, and connect with other Moms! Your children  will enjoy a loving and safe environment as they follow their own curriculum, enjoy snacks, crafts, and play!

We will meet two evenings each month beginning in September at 6:30 pm @ South Campus.

Adult Price: $100 (t-shirt, craft and activities)

The cost of The MomCo International Membership ($32) is required and to be purchased through www.mops.org.

Group Code (South Evening): 02BK (first digit is a zero)

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

– Acts 2:42-47
