Small Group Bible Study

We believe that Small Groups are the best place to grow spiritually while developing relationships in community with others.  As you explore God’s word with other believers, you will be encouraged to worship God intimately, use your giftedness to minister to others and to passionately share the gospel with those around you.

Groups Ministry
Core Values.

The Woodlands First seeks to be a faith family who lives at the intersection of God’s grace and truth. In order for all of us to become that vision, there must be a life shaping process. Our hope is that much of this transformation will take place in our Sunday Morning Small Groups. In Acts 2:42-47, we find the first example of a thriving local church body. The selfless devotion of that early church became the driving inspiration for our five core values at The Woodlands First.

Community

Live in community with other believers.

Community

Live in community with other believers.

Worship

Worship regularly with other believers.

Grow

Grow together through the study of God’s word, prayer, and faithful giving.

Minister

Minister to others by using our gifts.

Share

Share our faith at home and around the world.

Sunday Morning Groups

TWF small groups are designed to provide you with a community of people who are in a similar stage in life as you so that you can share, learn from each other, and grow closer in your relationship with Christ. Each Sunday Small Groups meet in their group’s respective room for fellowship and a bible study led by one of our small group leaders. For more information on our Sunday Morning Bible Studies see the links provided below.

Adult Midweek Bible Study

Each Fall and Spring Semester, we hold weekly Wednesday gatherings at 6:30PM on both of TWF campuses. The environment consists of an affordable meal for families, a time of worship, and short message from God’s Word, followed by some community and dessert. It is our desire to create an experience where adults can have a meal, unwind and connect with God and others. Doors open at 5:00PM and the meal served at 5:30PM. We hope you will join us as we walk together to become all God dreams us to be.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
