Payment:
A $300 deposit must be paid by February 5 to be signed up, and the final balance by April 9.

The cost will include airfare, accommodation, meals, transportation, and travel insurance.
Passports are required for travel.
Background checks are required for travel.
All missionary team members must pass a background check to travel; please, email a copy of your driver’s license, and your passport to elizabeth@thewoodlandsfirst.org
Facts about Tanzania
- The official currency in Tanzania is the Shilling.
- There are 120 tribes in Tanzania, and each one of them has its own language and their own culture; however, the official and wider language is Kiswahili, and the official language is English.
- The capital city is Dodoma, but the economic capital (and biggest city) is Dar Es Salaam.
- Tanzania has a variety of religions: Muslim (35%), Catholic (20%), Animism (20%), Christianism (15%), Hindu (5%), and Others (5%). However, there is a high confusion between Christianism and Catholicism.
