2022 Honduras Mission Trip

Copan is a ruined ancient Maya City, in extreme Western Honduras near the Guatemalan border (10 miles).
It is in a fertile valley among foothills at 700 meters (2,300 ft) above mean sea level.
Copan was added to the Word Heritage list in 1980.
The ruins are about 1km outside the town of Copán Ruinas: it’s an easy walk or you can hop in a mototaxi.
San Pedro Sula is about 200km away.
Santa Rosa de Copan has had a coffee renaissance and you will find many great local independent coffee shops.
