2022 Germany ( Buxtehude) Mission Trip
Join us to serve in one of our two Germany church partnership summer sports camps!
Our partnership through Synergy missions helps us to make lasting friendships with partner churches in Europe, and be a part of an evangelical movement that shares Christ with kids and teens through baseball and cheerleading camps.
July 15-24 in Buxtehude, Germany, outside of Hamburg. This is a start up year for a new partnership and will have a small baseball only team for 2022.
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
Sports Camp: We will lead a baseball and cheerleading camp (cheer in Westoverledingen only) for kids and teens to help us to build lasting friendships and share the Gospel.
Evening Activities: Each night we will host themed events for athletes and parents alike to build relationships with the German church and help families to hear about Jesus. Activities might include Texas night, glow-in-the-dark dance parties, and corn hole competitions.
Housing: One of the most special aspects of the Germany partnerships is getting to build relationships with our host families. We will stay in groups of 2-3 in homes of church members, usually within biking or walking distance of the church. All meals will be provided either by the church or in host homes.

Payment: The $300 down payment and any additional payments towards the balance of the trip may be paid via check to the church or by credit/debit card by clicking here then selecting the applicable fund.

Cost: $1800 per person includes airfare, lodging, meals, transportation, and travel insurance.
Documentation: Passports are required to travel. Please, email a copy of your passport and driver’s license to katya@thewoodlandsfirst.org
Immunization: Check with your doctor to see what she or he recommends. At this time, COVID vaccination is required.
