1st Grade Bible Presentation
“God’s Word – The Great Adventure”
When: Sunday, March 1st, 2020
Time: 5:30-7:00pm
Where: The Great Hall
1st Grader and 2 Adult Guests are included in your registration. Each additional Adult Guest is $10. Childcare is available for siblings, Infant-6th grade, $3 a child.
Please join us for a special 1st grade parent/child event! As we give your child their “big kid” Bible, we are looking forward to creating an experience that your child will remember for a long time. Our “safari” themed event will include dinner, special events and games, a photo booth, and of course our Bible presentations. Your child will get a chance to interview you about your favorite Bible Story and Bible verse, so you might want to think on that ahead! Also, we will attach a small pocket inside the back cover of your child’s book where you can write a short note of encouragement, prayer, blessing, or even a letter that they can keep in their Bible as a reminder of this day. Please prepare your letter in advance and bring it with you to the dinner. (No larger than one sheet of paper, please).
Also, to help create a time for parents and 1st graders to talk and share together, we will not have siblings joining us in the dinner. We will have childcare and dinner provided for them in building D. You can register your other kids for childcare when you RSVP for your first grader. Your child’s invitation is for him/her + 2 parents/adult guests. If you have grandparents or extended family that would also like to attend, please register them online, and there is a small fee to cover their meal.
If you’ve been a part of 1st grade Bible presentation before, then you will recognize that we are trying a new format. Our team is excited to help you and your child create a new memory, and I hope that you will make every effort to attend. We look forward to seeing you on our “Great Adventure” March 1st!
