HURRICANE RELIEF INFORMATION

There are many needs in our area currently. Please check out the list below and try to make contact with a shelter or donation drop off center before taking donations, ask what the current needs are. Also, look right around in your neighboorhoods, if you see a need and you can meet it, do it! If you would like to be a part of one of the TWFBC teams mobilizing in the coming days and weeks please check here for links (in green) to sign up. Thank you for your patience as we gather more details.

HOST TEAM This is for anyone with room(s) in their home willing to house individuals and teams helping in our region. Needs will include beds, showers, and an occasional meal. UPDATED: This team is at capasity.

YELLOW HAT TEAM This team is associated with the Texas Baptist Men's Disaster Relief, safety training is required. This will be mobilized in coming weeks.

TWFBC MUD-OUT TEAM This team is fast acting and is currently meeting needs daily for church members and others in need in The Woodlands community. This will include mudding out homes, removing flooring, dry wall, etc. Dress for messy and bring own tools (with your name on them) if possible. UPDATE: Members of this team have returned to work, needs are being met as members are availble. Contact office if you'd like to join. 281-367-4317

INTERFAITH DISTRIBUTION CENTER (Non-food items) This team will be mobilized Wednesday, September 6, as evacuees and those in shelters return to their homes. This center will be a partnership between Interfaith of The Woodlands and TWFBC. UPDATE: We will be open as a distribution center Wednesday - Friday, September 6-9 and Monday - Friday, September 11- 15. If you would like to DONATE, please contact Interfaith directly at 281-367-1230. If you would like to VOLUNTEER, please contact Tamatha in the church office.

Montgomery County Food Bank: Most in need of donated items: Bottled Water, First Aid Kits, Cleaning Supplies, Trash Bags, Rubber Gloves, Face Particle/Dust Masks, Laundry Detergent, Toiletries, Blankets, Pillows, New Towels, New Socks (Adult and Children), New Undergarments (Adult and Children), Canned Meats/Proteins, Canned Rice or Beans, Canned Fruit and Vegetables, Canned Soups/Stews/Chili, Dry Cereal, Easy to open snacks, Powdered Milk, Baby Formula

 Mission Northeast: New Caney - Cleaning supplies, underwear all sizes, clothing and shoes sizes large+++

Tomball First Baptist Church: donation drop off 300 W. Main in Tomball

Donations especially needed: food, clothing (especially mens and boys pants, socks, and underwear), shoes, and cleaning supplies, i.e. mops, buckets, mildew killer and general cleaners, sponges, disinfectant, gloves, and fans.

Fellowship of Montgomery: (12681 FM 149 Rd. Montgomery, TX):
Immediate needs are: Toiletries, Blankets, New Towels, Pillows, New Shoes and Socks (children and adults), Canned Food and Water, First Aid Kits, Cleaning Supplies, Trash Bags, Rubber Gloves, Dust Masks, Laundry Detergent, Dry Cereal, Easy to open snacks, Powdered Milk, Baby Formula, Baby wipes, Baby Food.

Father's House: (115 Arapahoe Dr. Montgomery, TX) | In need of water, hygiene items, blankets, etc.

Lone Star Cowboy Church: (21627 Eva St. Montgomery, TX) | In need of: Hamburger meat, large aluminum pans for deliveries, any canned veggies
